During this day course you will learn how to make, ink and print collagraph plates - a rich, textural surface that lends itself to very expressive markmaking, tonal variation and colourful experimentation. Create beautiful, unique prints with very low tech materials and using the press to take the print and emboss the paper.
About the Tutor
Sally Stephens is an artist educator based in Northamptonshire. She makes prints using etching, drypoint and monoprinting. She studied printmaking at Central St Martins School of Art and completed an MA at Northampton University in 2002. Sally has worked as a freelance workshop provider for over 14 years, working in a variety of settings including schools and projects involving community groups.
