A workshop which invites you to experiment with the traditional Turkish art of Paper Marbling. This is great for anyone wishing to have a go at Marbling Art as a stand alone technique or as part of a wider practice - to make end papers for books or cut into decorative works. You will learn about the history, materials and techniques of this beautiful and decorative art. All materials will be provided.
About the Tutor
Gulizar Subay graduated from Mimar Sinan University in 2010 as a History Teacher. She was trained by one of the most important Ebru Master in the world, Mr.Alparslan Babaoglu, and his student Mr.Ugur Tasatan during her 3-year course at Fatih Sultan Mehmet University.
She organises workshops and works with universities, art galleries, schools and festivals demonstrating Marbling Art in the UK.
