Date & Time Wednesday 20th January - Wednesday 15th December 2021
Tutor  Jessica Cormack

This course works through a year long project centred around the idea of the archive. Participants will be asked to create their own printed archive, using existing or created objects, such as letters, photographs, maps and objects. We will look at how we can reproduce these ‘artifacts’ using available equipment, materials and techniques. Participants will work through monthly themes, such as narrative technique, reproducing the everyday and digital reproduction. Participants will be sent two printing kits, creating the opportunity to work with Monoprint and Cyanotype.

The delivery of the course will primarily be over Zoom. All monthly information will be provided via Google Classrooms.

Participants will be supported each month with reading, and a guided task, designed to inform the participant’s practice and engage in their work critically. The course will work towards an online exhibition.
